Auden O’Connell, LPCC, ATR-BC (she/her)

I am an artist and a board-certified art therapist trained in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, psychodynamic, and creative art therapy processes.

My Values

I am neurodivergent and autistic: I believe that my lived experience as a late-identified autistic supports my therapeutic approach and my relationships with my clients, and so I have a small caseload, working Monday through Wednesday.

I provide an affirming space: I identify as a queer, white, cisgender woman. I am gender and LGBTQIA+ affirming, as well as poly, ENM, and atypical relationship supporting.

I am body neutral: I work from a Health At Every Size perspective and emphasize exercise as movement and eating as pleasure.

I am always learning: I work on an anti-oppressive and anti-racist basis to provide a therapeutic environment that is not only feminist, but also anti-ableist and culturally sensitive.
